I tried to deploy the new Merchandising Server 2.0 Virtual Appliance for VMware today. The “Deploy OVF Template” process started but after reaching 99% the deployment aborted with an errormessage
Failed to deploy OVF package: The request was aborted: The request was canceled.
I downloaded the Appliance once more but it did not solve the problem.
To solve this problem I extracted the .ovf and the .vmdk files from the .ova file using WinRar.
I was able to import the appliance then by chosing the .ovf file I extracted before.
